Birksire is a breeder of quality German Shepherd dogs from the world's best bloodlines. A relatively young kennel, Birksire owners love the German Shepherd breed and have a particular interest in animals from West German bloodlines. They researched potential breeding stock for over 2 years in order to find just the right dogs for their kennel.

SG P - Caijah vom Canishpere SchH2 KKL 1a, Birksire's foundation female, was obtained when she was 3 months old from Blackwood Castel. Blackwood Castel has an excellent reputation for breeding puppies with the highest health, structure and temperament characterisitics.

Birksire's focus is on carefully spaced litters with sires of proven German bloodlines.

Caijah's first litter was with VA6 (BSZS) - VA1 (B) Nando vom Gollerweiher SCHH3 - IP3 - FH2 Kkl 1, himself of championship stock, and their puppies were easily placed with discerning families. although still young, they show great promise.

Gwen is the newest addition to Birksire.
